Comments:
[1] According to contemporaneous scientific knowledge, Birds evolved from small feathered Dinosaurs and have no common ancestor with Pterosaurs (flying reptiles).
Archaeopteryx, known from several fossils found in south Germany near Solhofen town, is the most famous transaction form between non-avian feathered dinosaurs and modern birds.
[2] North Korean stamp is a part of set of 5 stamps "Prehistoric animals" from 1991.
German postmark from 2010, issued for mineral and fossil fair in Munich. Paleontology museum of Munich issued commemorative cover with illustration of the beak fossil for the fair too.
